I am a scholar of multiethnic North American literature, which I examine in relation to critical theory. My book manuscript, Marginal Forms: Crisis, Possibility and Multiethnic Writing, examines the political meanings of the past in contemporary literature.

I have additional research interests in theories of race, ethnicity and racialization; North American labor history; and debates in political economy relating to global and racial capitalism.
